We built this because
we needed it too
Four Bears Resort started as a personal project — a place where our own family could escape the noise of daily life and remember what it felt like to slow down. We bought the land, cleared the view, and built the first cabin with our hands.
Today, we welcome a small number of guests at a time. That's intentional. We'd rather have five happy families than fifty rushed ones. Every cabin is maintained personally, every reservation is handled directly, and every guest gets the same attention we'd want ourselves.
The name comes from the four bears we occasionally spot on the property — black bears, the kind that keep to themselves and remind you this is still their home, too. We're just borrowing the porch.
"We don't own the mountain. We just get to share it with you for a little while."
